ROBIN RICHARDSON
is a Malaysia based author and illustrator who enjoys creating work that focuses on topics of mental health and LGBTQ+ issues. They hold a first class honours degree in Illustration from Middlesex University, London.
They are able to tackle most artistic styles, and enjoy experimenting with different methods and techniques, both digitally and traditionally. In using different styles for certain literary work, they feel that they can embody different moods and tones, as well as entice different audiences. Although Robin specializes in digital art, they enjoy working with traditional mediums such as watercolour, inks, and acrylics, and tries to emulate those styles digitally as well.
Robin has illustrated comics for a variety of publishers, including the titles Who Was Raised to Be the Queen of France? Marie Antoinette (Penguin), Freddie Mercury: Shadows Illuminated (Z2 Comics), and Narcissus (Cave Domain Comics).
When Robin isn’t writing or drawing, they enjoy spending time playing video games, cosying up with a cup of tea, and cuddling with their cats, Scrunkles and Paya.
